Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work on LexBar. Payments are processed by Razorpay.

1. Consultation charges

You can request a refund of consultation charges if:

  • The session failed because of a technical problem on our side.
  • The advocate did not join or respond after accepting your request.
  • The session disconnected within the first minute and could not be reconnected.
  • You were charged incorrectly, for example twice for the same session.

Raise a request within [7] days of the consultation. We review session records and reply within [5] working days. Disagreement with the advice itself is not normally a ground for a refund, but we will review any complaint about an advocate’s conduct.

2. Prepaid balance

If you hold a prepaid balance with us, you can ask for any unused amount to be refunded to the original payment method at any time.

3. Booked appointments

  • Cancelled [2 hours] or more before the slot: full refund.
  • Advocate cancels or does not attend: full refund.

4. Documentation services

  • Full refund if you cancel before work starts.
  • Partial refund based on work completed if you cancel after work starts.

5. Refund timeline

Approved refunds are processed within [5–7] working days to the original payment method. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the credit.

6. How to request

Email rai.twinkle8195@gmail.com with your registered email, the transaction or consultation ID and the reason. If you are not satisfied with our decision, contact our Grievance Officer.
